Walked four miles with O this morning (our "Perimeter Patrol" route). Hot and humid - 88 degrees by 9:00 a.m.

lol, well sure, but you have to take the humidity into account - 88 degrees and 80 percent humidity results in a heat index of 106. (Sorry about the smoke - we've had our fill of that - wouldn't wish it on anyone.)
