We just hung out today. Too hot to do much else.

Scud is confined to a stall for a couple months because he had colic surgery. Poor guy.

Sounds like Cora has picked up another client for therapy work, which seems pretty amazing when you consider that a year and a half ago she would hide from everybody in the corner of her paddock. The counselor said she walked up to her new client yesterday.

When I got to the ranch today I was bummed because Cora didn't come to her gate to meet me - but then I noticed she was sound asleep. And missing her mask, grr. Found it stuck in the round bale holder, with a tear. (Still wearable, but yeah, that didn't last long.) The ranch was crowded and hot today so we just hung out in a quiet corner.

Those bluebonnets sure are hanging in there - they're more of a March-April flower. This plant seems to have seed pods that have already burst open right alongside these newer blossoms.

Adventure Girl worked herself into the bushes behind one of the therapy group's paddocks. She impressed me by backing herself gently and serenely and then coming to stand still beside me. I told her she was a good girl and she left to go eat some the grass behind the old manure piles.
