I'd promised myself to get over to the Blanton before all the UT students come back next week. I almost skipped going, but there's a painting I've been wanting to study a little more, so I got up from my desk and walked across the street. Couldn't find it - it may have been part of the dog and cat show - but as I was browsing the current exhibit, La linea continua, I turned a corner and from across the room a little pencil drawing caught my eye. I was shocked and delighted when I got closer and saw the signature in the bottom corner. I've never seen this piece in any of the books. It's wonderful. Three cheers for the Blanton!
