Total walking distance was about the same as last month, and the average pace was just a little faster. High temperatures, a steady stream of visitors and a fallen tree made it difficult to achieve the Thoreauvian lengths we yearn to stroll, but I think we did OK. (I have a higher mileage target in mind for August - wish us luck!)
