Beautiful, beautiful day - mid-60s, high thin clouds, a nice cooling breeze. This was the first day since I started at the ranch that I had a chance to ride. (Actually it was the first time since Thanksgiving.) Leda seems to think the only way I'll get better at trotting is to do a whole lot of it - she was in a good mood and eager to move. (I like how her ear is pinned to me in the photo above. The top photo is Lady greeting me at dawn.)
