ranch notes, mmxxiii-iv-iv

For the first time since I've known her - just over five years now -
Cora lay down beside me in the paddock and took a nap.

      I did not nap but I sat quietly with her as she dozed; I did not want to disturb her. She really zonked out and went into a couple of REM sleep cycles - I suspect she needed to catch up on deep sleep after several previous nights of ice and cold.
