A couple very old horses were in the large field behind Jazz's paddock this morning.
Cora and I had our first ride in the new arena today -
actually, it was about 15 minutes of me trying to talk her into letting me get on
and then about two minutes of riding before she walked out of the arena;
we'll probably stick to the round pen until the arena has a rail.
(The butterfly on the broomweed is probably a dainty sulphur,
the fruiting plant is a devil's claw.)
