very hot today, mid-80s
Cora has been sweating in her winter fur these last couple days
but we're having a 50-degree temperature drop tonight
Boomer says hi
and a wild turkey in the brush behind Cora's paddock
there were about a half dozen, I think

Cora seems OK with Dixie the ranch dog,
at least from the other side of the fence.
(She mostly doesn't like dogs.)
