I always wear my hat and mask but today I called an audible.
Cora has been heart-achingly sweet lately.

I was sitting at the kitchen table when I saw a squirrel pick something up and run away with it, so I grabbed my camera and said, "Show us what you got," and the squirrel stopped and turned his face into the sun. CLICK, ha ha! Pecan!
Then he ran up a nearby tree.

Cora seems better. A little quiet, but she seemed to be in good spirits.

Sweet Cora seemed a little down today. She had a scabbed-over cut on her butt and it looked like she'd been sweating at some point. She seemed to want to hang out with me more than she wanted to graze, which is pretty unusual for her, and she let me hug her head against my chest a few times. I don't normally go in on weekends but I'm going to check in with her again tomorrow.

Ondine is usually content with a one-mile walk, especially when it's hot and humid, but this morning was super nice so she insisted on going to the park, which is more like two miles.
Cú got another longer walk today, too, about three miles. A little less foot traffic today, but not a lot less.

another fairly long walk with Cú, 3.75 miles
just a few people, but still more than I'm comfortable around
not sure trails are the way to go
we need to find wider-open spaces
hmm
