Mauna Kea kuahiwi ku ha‘o i ka mälie. This is not a little telescope - it's 18 stories tall. Antarctica!

(Other places we shouldn't mess with: Mount Kailash, Uluru, the Sierra Madre de Santa Maria, the Black Hills and Enchanted Rock.)

    A number of well-used telescopes are in jeopardy--financing, age, etc.
    This one would be good, but I think I agree with the natives.
