goodwater trail 10k

Ondine and I went on an out-and-back 10k on the south side of the river. She was skittish and growly with the few other hikers we encountered, and she seemed happier on the return. I think she was bummed out that we weren't up there to play in the water today. (There isn't much water to speak of - the river is drying up again.) Still, this hike was a wonder; swarms of tiny butterflies swirled around us, and the weather was perfect, warm in the sun and cool in the shade.
