Cora was pretty muddy from yesterday's rain so
we did about an hour of grooming and hoof-picking and maybe a minute of riding.
It felt good.

we think this little critter is a Bell's vireo
it was avoiding the rain and hunting for bugs in the bush outside the kitchen window
(update, 1/9/22: we now think this was an orange-crowned warbler, not a Bell's vireo)
